A collection of beautiful handmade leather journals on Etsy.  All those empty pages waiting to be filled…write your life story, or just a few profound thoughts. 

At various times in my life I’ve been a disciplined journaler; it helped me work through tough issues, let me vent, or just get personal thoughts down on paper.  Journals are very forgiving, and they don’t interrupt!

My Mom wrote and journaled faithfully throughout her life.  Much of what she wrote is based on books she read that impacted her life. Over the years several of her articles were published in magazines.  From these and her private journals she compiled a large book full of wisdom and life experience to pass on to the next generation; many of her friends have said that it has blessed them beyond measure.  I haven’t been emotionally able to read through it all yet, but I think I am almost there….

Mom taught me the value of looking ahead to the next generation and asking myself what I can offer.  In a way, I can still have a conversation with her through her writing.  What a gift!
